Works Applications Wins “IBM 2019 Excellence Award” for Innovative and Outstanding Business Partner

(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter “WAP”) today announced WAP was named as the winner of “IBM 2019 Excellence Award - Embed Innovation” in the “Hybrid Cloud, Data & AI Embed Innovation” category. This award is the global recognition as a business partner who delivers innovative and outstanding performance.

“IBM 2019 Excellence Awards - Embed Innovation” recognize innovative companies that promote business reforms of customers by excellent use of hybrid cloud and other technologies to ensure growth. 

 

Reasons for recognition

WAP has won the award for the following reasons.

Works Applications is a major ISV in the Japanese market and their ERP solution, COMPANY, is a widely used solution. They leverage IBM Technologies in their solution for a long term.

This allows the company to provide flexible general-purpose packaged services successfully to meet the needs of the changing market and customers. WAP is an excellent business partner who has demonstrated innovation and creativity.
