Works Applications Ranked #2 in Japan’s 2014 "Great Places to Work” Survey

Annual rankings conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute Japan.

TOKYO – February 7, 2014 – Works Applications, Japan’s largest ERP software provider, today announced it was ranked as Number 2 in the 2014 "Great Places to Work” survey conducted by the Great Places to Work Institute Japan (GPTW). Works Applications has consistently been selected as one of the top five best places to work in Japan based on desirable attributes such as credibility, respect, fairness, camaraderie, and pride.

Works Applications’ company philosophy is to create a workplace environment where employees feel supported and empowered. Employee job satisfaction is of primary importance to management. Questionnaire results obtained after the survey show that this philosophy resonates with staff; employees rated Works Applications management highly in the category of credibility and support for employee career objectives.

Based on survey results from last year, Works Applications implemented various improvements to internal systems and compensation structures, leading to improved rankings for 2014. The company intends to take a critical look at the responses from the current survey and make changes accordingly to ensure a high quality work environment.
