Works Applications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter “WAP”) was selected for the Number 4 ranking in the 2013 "Great Places to Work Ranking" survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute Japan (hereinafter GPTW).
WAP was ranked as Number 4 in this survey in 2009, and then achieved Number 1 in 2010. The rank was Number 2 in 2011 and 2012. As a result of our tackling various improvements to internal systems and the workplace environment every year based on the results of employee surveys, etc., we receive high support from our employees, and we feel that this has led to the result of our being ranked in the top 4 for 5 consecutive years.

Great Place to Work Institute and Great Place to Work Institute Japand
GPTW conducts the "Great Place to Work" survey in more than 45 countries worldwide and performs survey analysis and evaluation to globally common standards, and announces the results as the "Great Places to Work ranking" published in leading media. In the United States, being included in this list of "Great Places to Work" is proof of being a leading company, and the list has been announced annually since 1998 by Fortune magazine. It is the world's largest-scale employee awareness survey, with over 2 million people at more than 5,500 participating companies in 45 countries.
Great Place to Work Institute Japan started conducting this survey and announcement in 2007. This year (2013) is the 7th time, and 104 of the companies with 250 or more employees participated.
