Works Applications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter “WAP”) will hold the seminar, COMPANY Forum 2012, in Osaka and Tokyo.
COMPANY Forum is held by WAP each year, seeking to solve challenges faced by Japanese companies regarding business administration strategy and daily operations.
The theme is adjusted to the tide and trends of the year, and lectures are given by various prominent figures and people in the field. Each year, over a thousand visitors attend.
This year marks the 9th Company Forum, and features leading company examples in this generation of cut-throat international competition. Business administration strategies, human affairs, finance and accounting, information system department, areas of consideration, what kind of measures and prospects should be considered in order to develop the “ability to compete in the world” are introduced.

The keynote lecture will be presented by Michael Porter(*), professor at Harvard Business School and well-known author of “Competitive Strategy”, and Kenichi Ohmae, Business Administration Consultant representing Japan. Cases by leading companies will be introduced and various contents covering a wide range of fields both in Osaka and Tokyo are prepared.
