Works Applications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter “WAP”) is pleased to announce that we have received an order from Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Naotada Sato; hereinafter “Meiji HD”) for a personnel affairs system integration project using the COMPANY series. WAP would like to announce the operations of an integrated personnel affairs system to manage approx. 14,000 people (including full-time / part-time employees).
Integration of a new personnel affairs system based on COMPANY in response to management integration and business realignment
Former companies Meiji Seika and Meiji Dairies were using COMPANY HCM and Payroll, COMPANY Workforce Self-Service, and COMPANY Attendance Management for their personnel affairs systems. These companies were subsequently integrated to become affiliates of Meiji HD in April 2009. In April 2011, Meiji Co. Ltd. and Meiji Seika Pharma, Co. Ltd. were newly established as a result of operations reorganization and system integration was performed by COMPANY in response to the need for increased efficiency in personnel related operations.
New system compatibility and information integration could be achieved by the on-schedule project
System integration was carried out under careful planning as a joint project within Meiji Group and WAP, and proceeded according to the planned schedule through quick verification of what the package could do, and utilization of the versatile functions proudly exhibited by COMPANY. The purpose of the project, as described below, could be achieved by operations in step with the implementation of the new personnel affairs system, and by integrating the personnel affairs data.
・Smooth system response to the new personnel affairs system including transfer measures.
・Integration of personnel affairs data with history information transferred from both the former Meiji Seika
and the former Meiji Dairies.
・Reduction of required man-hours for system operation as a result of a reduction in the number of
management systems due to system integration
Further efforts to promote improvements in operation efficiency and employee services, and promotion of COMPANY utilization
Meiji Group will continue to promote further systemization of personnel information browsing and application procedures, etc., through the use of COMPANY. In doing so, improvement in the response to inquiries made to the personnel affairs department and a further reduction in man-hour required for various operations, increased security of accurate personnel affairs information, and reduction of paper consumption are promoted. WAP continues to seek the further promotion of operation efficiency and improvement in services for the employees of Meiji HD, and to provide the needed support
