Works Applications Group strengthens globalization of its product and service operations

~ The release of the global edition of COMPANY and business collaboration with ADP, the world's largest BPO company ~

Works Applications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter “WAP”)  is pleased to announce the release of the global edition of COMPANY HCM and Payroll. We would also like to announce that WAP's group company, Works Business Service, Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Executive Director: Yoshiro Ishikawa; hereinafter “WBS”) has entered into a business cooperation with ADP Employer Services International (Headquarters: Paris, France; President: Mark Benjamin; hereinafter “ADP ESI”), the world's largest company in human resource management and payroll outsourcing services.

Globalization of COMPANY has been promoted with greatly enhanced functions.

Along with current globalization of companies, the need to understand, properly place and train global human resources has also rapidly grown. To meet this need, WAP and its group companies have promoted globalization of its products and services.

1)      The global edition of COMPANY HCM and Payroll has been released

The global edition is equipped with a cross-sectional search and reference function, enabling centralized management of human resource information at the head office in Japan and overseas offices using the COMPANY database. With this edition, cross-sectional management of human resources of various nationalities in various locations, as well as strategic talent management can be achieved. This edition is available in multiple languages, enabling input and display in various languages, including name management in both local and official languages.

Generally, global-scale personnel management systems only provided uniform responses, since differences between countries were not considered. However, COMPANY is the first personnel management package in Japan that can respond to the individual needs of different locations and cultures, while achieving detailed management, a distinctive feature in Japan.

2)      Business collaboration with the ADP Group, one of the largest BPO companies in the world

WBS has entered into a business collaboration with ADP ESI, one of the largest human capital and payroll outsourcing companies, and a partnership for ADP Streamline, with the provision of outsourcing services using COMPANY. WBS is entrusted with the payroll accounting for Japanese entities of the client companies of ADP Streamline using COMPANY, a payroll accounting system that has achieved an overwhelming share in Japan. In this way, BPO service can be provided, which is appropriate for the unique payroll and legal systems of Japan.

Overall globalization has been promoted along with increased local employment opportunities overseas

In addition to globalization of its products and services, WAP has actively promoted globalization with regards to company human resources, by strengthening recruitment activities in multiple countries and regions. The WAP group seeks to continue to enhance global operations.
