(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter “WAP”) is pleased to announce that Toyota Industries Corporation (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Tadashi Ishikawa; hereinafter “Toyota Industries”) has decided to employ COMPANY, a company resource package software of WAP for major companies. As a core company of TOYOTA Group, Toyota Industries has a number of products, which has the top market share in the world, developing businesses globally with products including fiber machines, which the company has been working on since its establishment, forklifts, and compressors for car air conditioners. Toyota Industries will install the modules of COMPANY HCM & Payroll, COMPANY Workforce Self-Service, and COMPANY Attendance Management.

Strengthening in risk management systems for global business development

Toyota Industries has currently been enthusiastically developing their business overseas. With the number of their staff working in overseas offices and business travelers rapidly increasing, the company has been paying attentions on the importance of risk management. This time, WAP has worked on to install Toyota Industries’ unique Risk Management System onto COMPANY as a standard feature. In this way, we can strengthen the functions that support the global business development of Japanese companies.

COMPANY consolidates HR information of approximately 16,000 staff in a global scale

By effectively using COMPANY, Toyota Industries consolidates HR related information such as assignments, positioning, careers, education, etc. of approx. 16,000 including main personnel of overseas companies and overseas staff, as well as project information, etc. in order to promote the effective use of staff in a global scale.

Improvement in business efficiency as a whole group

Aiming to improve the efficiency in its specialty and services, Toyota Industries has been encouraging divisions to allocate their tasks, and the company established Toyota Industries Well Support Corporation this January, which is a new company in charge of the wellness department of Toyota Industries. In the future, the Well Support Corporation will take orders from the group companies for business processing in order to improve the efficiency of the business of the group as a whole. With the traditional systems, it was difficult to respond in a timely manner to the change in the HR systems and diversifications of Workstyles following the business expansion including working overseas. Now, COMPANY has made it possible to respond immediately to the change in systems and flexibly meet the systems of the group companies. WAP believes that COMPANY can realize a dramatic improvement in ROI (return on investment) compared to the traditional systems.

Realization of paperless operations

After introducing COMPANY Workforce Self-Service, Toyota Industries will have all traditional operations on paper between staff to transit to be able to implement on website. This will enhance the efficiencies of work flow and allow staff to reduce their tasks. Moreover, it will improve the company’s productivity as well as convenience, and a large sum of cost reduction can be expected because of the less use of paper.
