In August 2016, a joint study started with Yokohama National University, aimed to explore the practical application of big data to marine transport by using AI. The Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Group also actively utilizes IT for personnel payroll service. It aims to revolutionize “quality of work” by reducing repetitive administrative tasks and focusing on creativity with its AI-embedded, cutting edge technology.

MOLIS supports the information systems of the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines group. By adopting AI WORKS as its AI-infused next-generation HR management system suite, MOLIS aims to improve efficiency and reform its operations based on big data. Automatic data entry with image processing and input prediction through operational log data analysis enable users to be released from the work entailed by data inputting. Furthermore, any employees can access and utilize the results of analysis based on machine learning with ease.
