ISO 27017 certification proves information security measures specific to cloud services
ISO 27017 is an international standard related to cloud security issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2015, and proves that a business is committed to information security measures specific to cloud services in operating such services. This standard is based on the international standard ISO/IEC 27002, which is widely used as a code of conduct for implementing information security measures, and describes additional control measures and implementation guidelines specific to cloud services.
Achieving improved productivity with "cloud-native" ERP packages that boast robust security
WAP's cloud ERP "HUE", which received certification this time, breaks away from RDBMS, the premise on which conventional enterprise applications had been based, as the world's first ERP to employ distributed processing and artificial intelligence. It has a "cloud-native" design which offers services on public clouds instead of the "data center type" cloud that had been used previously, and achieves overwhelming high speed and usability not available in conventional ERP.
Through "HUE" which provides both high security and usability, WAP will continue to contribute to improving the productivity of corporations from mission-critical systems that support the background of the company.
*1 About BSI (British Standards Institution) and BSI Group Japan K.K.
BSI (British Standards Institution) was founded in 1901 as the world's first national standards organization, and in addition, as a founding member of ISO, is a standards development professional. BSI Group Japan K.K. (BSI Japan) was founded in 1999 as the Japanese institute of BSI, and for management system certification services it offers the most standards certification services among the approximately 60 inspection organizations present in Japan.
*2 About "HUE"
"HUE" is the next-generation ERP system offered by WAP that enables big-data analysis using artificial intelligence (AI). By being the world's first ERP to employ distributed processing and together with adding AI to the ERP, it achieves a "cloud-native" system that takes full advantage of the inherent merits of the cloud. *3 About "MKS"
"MKS" (My Number Keeping System) is a cloud-type My Number (Japan's personal identification number) management platform that WAP offers at no charge. Since this system operates on the cloud services offered by WAP, it makes it unnecessary for companies and organizations to perform number management separately, and thus enables proceeding with My Number handling without additional workloads.
