Announcement of Change in Representative Directors

Works Applications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chief Executive Officer: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter “WAP”) today announced the change in Representative Directors as of March 12, 2018. Former Representative Directors, Takashi Abe and Yoshiro Ishikawa become a Director as of the same date and will be involved in the management of WAP, advising the Chief Executive Officer on the strategic direction for growth, etc.

Career Summary of the new Representative Director, Naoki Inoue

In April 1980, joined The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, Ltd. (Current: Shinsei Bank, Limited.), and participated in the international banking and securities business. Since November 1997, took on important roles in strategic planning/preparation of plan /execution of business innovation in several Japanese and international financial institutions. After that, reassumed several key positions such as Representative Director, Chief Strategy & Planning Officer of Citibank Japan Ltd. in April 2012 and Representative Director & Deputy Chief Executive of SMBC Trust Bank Ltd., in November 2015. In December 2017, assumed Outside Director of WAP and became Director and Chief Administrative Officer of WAP in January 2018.

Comment from the new Representative Director, Naoki Inoue

WAP has built a solid customer base with over 1,300 group companies by providing human resource management system, etc. of “COMPANY”, an ERP package software for large enterprises, which gained overwhelming supports from its user companies. We will make steady progress for the new growth track by providing “AI WORKS” in addition to “COMPANY”. With the new management structure, we will make efforts to further enhance our corporate value by the reliable business execution and the establishment of organized corporate governance structure, maintaining the corporate culture which was conducive to the rapid growth since its founding.
