Infoview will also become a Works Applications Consolidated Subsidiary.

TOKYO –May 16, 2015 – Works Applications Co., Ltd., a worldwide leader in Enterprise Resource Planning business management software, today announced it has agreed to acquire 51 percent of shares of Indian IT company IVTL Infoview Technologies Pvt Ltd., headquartered in Chennai, India, and has further agreed to make it a consolidated subsidiary.

Works Applications undertook a business alliance with Infoview beginning in August 2014 for the development of the human resources components of COMPANY HR and COMPANY HUE. This investment agreement is based on an understanding of both companies’ mutual corporate cultures. Infoview will be positioned from this point forward as Works Applications’ Indian development base and will promote the strengthening of Works Applications’ technical capabilities.

Investment Aims

By engaging Infoview’s highly regarded engineers, Works Applications will strengthen its global engineering system and promote the acceleration of the development of its COMPANY HUE software. Infoview has worked diligently on cultivating IT personnel to strengthen the information industry field, and is now rich with talented science and engineering students specializing in computer science. The software field is particularly popular, and Infoview has strengthened the employment of new graduates from the top universities in India. The aim is to expand the Infoview development personnel focused on Works Applications products from 500 engineers in July 2015 to 2,000 engineers by 2018.

Future Outlook

As the first step, Infoview will be responsible for the development of the financial accounting area of Works Applications’ product COMPANY HUE. Plans call for Infoview to develop a total of 750 subsystems within the year. In the long term, Infoview will be not only a base for the development of COMPANY HUE, but will also act as a base for overseas employment and South Asia sales to create further synergy. In addition, Infoview will add COMPANY HUE into its operating system. Having Infoview as a model user will assure that it adopts and conforms to the complex legal systems of India, which vary from state to state, and thus promote wider sales of COMPANY HUE throughout South Asia with India as the core.
