TOKYO – January 16, 2014 – Works Applications, Japan’s largest ERP software provider, today announced that its COMPANY Accounting Series 5 products are compatible with the Oracle Exadata Database Machine, resulting in improved processing speeds for accounting functions. The integrated solution drastically reduces processing time for large-scale accounting functions in major companies.
By combining COMPANY Accounting Series with Oracle Exadata, companies with more than 100,0000 employees can now perform massive accounting document capture and processing functions up to 15 times faster compared to existing environments. Companies have achieved up to six times faster aggregation accounting processing as well, which significantly reduces operating costs.
COMPANY Accounting Series provides centralized accounting processing, from transactions to the creation of non-consolidated account settlement, consolidated account settlement and disclosure documents. The system is compatible with work monitoring and management accounting and delivers efficient settlement of accounts work and business analysis. In addition, COMPANY Accounting Series facilitates payables/receivables, funds and asset management, and purchasing management activities.
Works Applications is one of only three companies in Japan to have received certification from Oracle. COMPANY offers free upgrades to customers, allowing them to take advantage of the latest infrastructure and architecture enhancements made possible by the integration with Oracle. In the future, all COMPANY series products will integrate seamlessly with Oracle Exadata.
