Works Applications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Executive Director and CEO: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter "WAP") is pleased to announce that we have begun offering a free-of-charge consulting service "Strategic Enterprise Project (nickname: STEP)" (hereinafter "STEP") to customer businesses who have introduced and are using the mission-critical software package "COMPANY".
Proposing aggressive work improvements through the free consulting service STEP
Through the BASE (*) service that WAP started offering last year, we performed work analysis on approximately 300 customer companies. Based on that and to further support business strategies, we have started offering STEP this time as a new consulting service that will more aggressively propose work improvements from a long-term perspective. In this service, we work together with customers to establish their own MBO (management by objectives) including setting of specific goals, scheduling, evaluation methods, etc. from the aspects of both work and system for the purpose of work improvement. We will provide support up to the implementation of those proposals entirely free of charge.
Specific results of STEP
With STEP, the customer's work is improved quantitatively and qualitatively through work analysis using our original methods. We can already show results like the following for numerous companies.
Individual systems that existed apart from the package software are eliminated. By accomplishing work using "COMPANY", coordination costs and running costs are reduced and work efficiency is promoted.
By understanding and improving the work of group companies, it supports the rollout of shared services and contributes to strengthening the group business power.
By reviewing work, outsourced work can be brought in-house. The centralized integrated system supports business decisions that lead to cost reductions together with offering information quickly and accurately.
This service is being implemented at "COMPANY" series users such as Kikkoman Corporation, Nichiban Co., Ltd., and over 100 other major corporations in Japan.
WAP will continue to utilize consulting services such as this to support increasing the IT return on investment (ROI) of customer companies.
"BASE" (Business Application Assessment Service)
A service implemented free-of-charge that performs work issue analysis, creation of statistics data, reporting, and consulting using the "COMPANY" usage status as an entrance.
