Works Applications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Executive Director and CEO: Masayuki Makino; hereinafter "WAP") is pleased to announce the opening of "VIVA", Japan's largest closed EC site for business customers. This site was constructed and operates using WAP's ERP package system "COMPANY" EC Series. Site management is performed by Viva Japan, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hisato Hamada; hereinafter "Viva Japan").
Utilizing the user network with the top share in Japan
WAP has opened a closed shopping mall "VIVA" which can be accessed only by the several million employees of the approximately 850 major Japan domestic companies who are using our "COMPANY" series, which boasts the #1 share (*) for domestically produced package software in the ERP package software market. This site uses the latest trend technologies implemented in our "COMPANY" EC Series, such as flash marketing techniques, links with various SNS, etc.
In addition to system development, WAP is also actively promoting the development of new services to meet the needs of customers and markets.

The company pays for shipping costs as an employee benefit. Unique benefit methods such as utilizing in-house delivery should be used.
Payroll settlement type EC
Settlement of accounts can be performed by payroll deductions, which provides peace of mind to both the buyer and seller. In addition, there is no need to input confidential information such as credit card number, address (if the delivery destination is set as the work location), etc. which reduces the burden at the time of ordering.
* Available as an option when "Company Payroll" is used. Normally settlement should be performed using a credit card.
Closed social EC
Limited editions not available to the general public can be purchased at prices made possible by being a closed site.
Reduced costs and stable operation are achieved by utilizing the Amazon EC2 public cloud
The COMPANY EC Series that forms the platform for the closed shopping mall VIVA covers EC site construction, operation, sales/inquiries, and marketing/sales promotion, and is a customer-information-integrated-type EC and mail-order platform. In addition, this newly constructed site runs on the public cloud "Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2)" offered by Amazon Web Services with whom WAP has formed a partnership, which reduces costs associated with hardware and enables stable site operation by realizing server load balancing and disaster recovery measures.
About VIVA management structure
Viva Japan, who manages VIVA, was established as a business entity for the development of flagship commerce solutions by cafegroove Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hisato Hamada; hereinafter "cafegroove"), a producer of brand flagship commerce businesses for apparel, miscellaneous goods, etc. In January 2011, WAP made a capital investment in Viva Japan and formed a business alliance with them. Since the start of cafegroove's own EC site ISOLA service-in in 2008, cafegroove has used their accumulated EC business strategy as a base and has developed along 2 axes, a BPO service business that supports the entire EC flow from EC site construction and account settlement to operation and fulfillment, and a marketing business for branding and promotion.
In addition, we have also formed a business alliance with the major e-marketing business OPT Inc. (Headquarters, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President, and CEO: Noboru Hachimine), and together with strengthening our marketing, we will also start a joint business specializing in offering BPO services for account settlement and fulfillment functions which are highly needed by medium-scale brands.
